Anthony Harvey (born in 1988) is a Swedish painter working and living in Gothenburg. He showed interest in drawing at an early age which continued throughout his teenage years primarely focusing on rendering objects and people as realistically as possible. In his 20’s, his style (after a 2 year spell at an art school) shifted from pencil portraits to oil paintings. This medium quickly became his favourite and he would during the fortcoming years begin to explore it’s possibilities and characteristics.

Today, his style is a fusion of realism and surrealism, where lifelike depictions of people and everyday scenes are transformed into reflections of inner emotions and personal introspection. His oil paintings often explore themes of the human condition, drawing from personal experiences and inner thoughts to create visual narratives that feel both grounded in reality and transcendent in their emotional depth.
